Lake County Fire Rescue recently celebrated the promotion of Carter Cork to the rank of lieutenant. In his new role, Cork will be responsible for the safety of citizens, property, and his assigned crew.
To be promoted to the rank of lieutenant requires State Certified Fire Officer certification, five years in the department, a written test, and a dynamic assessment center. Lt. Cork has been with the department since 2000 and finished number one on the current eligibility list.
Congratulations Lt. Cork. Wishing you a safe and successful 2019.
