Registration is now open for the City of Clermont’s third annual Great Clermont Campout. The event goes from 11 am Saturday, February 2, to 11 am Sunday, February 3 at Waterfront Park, 330 3rd Street.
Bring your tent and camp under the stars in the City of Clermont’s picturesque park with dreamy views of Lake Minneola. Campsites go quickly, so be sure to reserve your spot soon.
“This popular event is a wonderful way for families to enjoy Clermont’s great outdoors overnight in a safe environment,” City Manager Darren Gray said.
It’s sure to be a weekend of family fun for all ages. Make special memories you’ll never forget as you cozy up by the bonfire with s’mores and campfire songs, watch movies under the stars (Cars 3 and Goonies), play backyard games and activities like camping bingo, trivia and neon soccer and enter the contest for best tent poster.
Dinner and breakfast will be provided, along with a commemorative T-shirt per person and a bag with a towel per family.
The Great Clermont Campout is presented by the City of Clermont and sponsored by South Lake Hospital – Orlando Health, Giant Recreation World, Insight Credit Union, Florida Sports Injury and Orthopedic Institute and McDonald’s of Clermont.
