City of Mascotte

The shutdown of the Federal Government impacts about 20% of Federal Departments. The City of Mascotte will not disconnect or charge a late fee for any resident that works for one of the closed Federal Agencies.

Residents will need to prove through verification of employment that they work for one of the closed agencies. Any deferral of the January utility bill will need to be paid in full in February or thereafter if the shutdown continues.

The City of Mascotte will work with any resident who works for one of the closed Federal Agencies on a payment plan when the government is open and paying the employees again.

No resident should worry about utilities, water and stormwater when they have no responsibility in the shutdown.
