Celebrate Valentine’s Week with a new French Kiss Concert performed by the Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra here in the Mount Dora / Eustis area and in Clermont with guest conductor Alexel Izmirliev.

French Kiss Concert: This exciting concert performance will share Paris In Springtime, La Vie En Rose, “La Mer” of Charles Trenet, C’est si Bon & Edith Piaf songs!  The Gypsy Jazz Trio will perform with the orchestra for “Hot Club de France” effect- plus Debussy, Ravel and more with singing and harmonica. This has been created to help you and your loved ones enjoy a very Happy Valentine’s Day!

Choice Of Concert Champions! Lake County’s own Symphony Orchestra has other concerts planned for this spring with ‘Northern Lights’ to be performed on March 21 & 22, 2019. This concert will include the Beethoven Violin Concerto with soloist Konstantin Dimitrov. It will include Drama & Mystery from the North with Morning Mood, The Moldau, Scherzo Fantastique and Finlandia. ‘Ballade In Blue’ will be the gala 2018-2019 season finale on April 25 & 26 with a Tribute to Guy Saint-Clair sharing his original compositions and arrangements. This concert will also include Mysterious Isles, Onedin Line, Aquarium, Phoenix Rising and the fiery “Slavic Dances” with piano solos by Sten-Heinoja.

Symphony History: Internationally respected classical concert pianist/composer Guy Saint-Clair and his wife, portrait/wildlife artist Audrey Sanders came here to Lake County from their European home in 2005. They quickly established the Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra as a formidable new cultural force here in Central Florida. Made up of more than 60 professional musicians from all over the world, the Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra is the resident professional orchestra of Lake County, Florida with an established reputation for musical excellence. Now into their 14th season, the Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra remains a professional symphony of immense talent and perseverance, for which the media has proudly proclaimed them as “small-town charm with world-class music!”
