Tomoka Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, held their annual Student Award Program Friday, February 1, at Cooper Memorial Library.

Beverly Oyler, Tomoka Regent welcomed Clermont Mayor Gail Ash, Groveland Mayor Evelyn Wilson, Montverde Mayor Joe Wynkoop, administrators, teachers, students, family, members and other special guests to the ceremonies.

Lauren Hoag Winter was awarded the Elaine Beebe Scholarship. Lauren will receive her associate’s degree at the end of this semester from Lake Sumter State College and plans to begin her studies at UCF in the fall to pursue her teaching degree.
