All offices of the Lake County Board of County Commissioners, Property Appraiser, Supervisor of Elections, Tax Collector, the Lake County Animal Shelter and the Lake County Extension Center will be closed Monday, Feb. 18 for Presidents Day.
Lake County Solid Waste’s residential curbside collection and the Central Landfill Facility, 13130 County Landfill Road, Tavares, will operate normally on the holiday. However, Solid Waste administration will be closed.
LakeXpress, Lake County’s public transportation service, and Lake County Connection paratransit service will operate with regularly scheduled hours.
All Lake County Library System libraries will close for Presidents Day with the exception of these libraries:
- Cooper Memorial Library
- Fruitland Park Library
- Leesburg Public Library
- City of Tavares Public Library
- Umatilla Public Library
- W. T. Bland Public Library
