Spring was in the air this week as 142 people ran, jogged and walked along the shore of Lake Minneola for Clermont Waterfront Parkrun number 274.  There were 29 first timers, and 11 marked new Personal Bests. Representatives of 13 different clubs took part, with runners participating from as far away as Norway.

Jeremy Arguelles led the pack with an admirable 17:36.  Hot on his heels were Kevin Grogan at 18:37 and Kelvin Banbury at 19:46.

Sharon Gallant led the women, blazing in at 21:27.  Kim Holmes and Katherine Kay followed up with 23:08 and 23:27.

The Clermont Waterfront Parkrun takes place every Saturday morning at 7:30 am. It starts at Lake Hiawatha Preserve, 450 12th St, Clermont, FL 34711.

The female record is held by Kate BAZELEY who recorded a time of 17:17 on February 20th, 2016 (event number 124), and by Ani VELTCHEVA who also recorded a time of 17:17 on March 18th, 2017 (event number 173).
The male record is held by Ollie GARROD who recorded a time of 15:39 on August 18th, 2018 (event number 245). The Age Grade course record is held by Sabra HARVEY who recorded 102.90% (21:17) on February 9th, 2019 (event number 272).

Clermont Waterfront parkrun started on April 27th, 2013. Since then 7,286 participants have completed 23,549 parkruns covering a total distance of 117,745 km, including 3,724 new Personal Bests. A total of 334 individuals have volunteered 2,482 times.
