Do you know a Veteran or Veteran’s spouse who wants to start their own business. Please let them know about army_soldiers.jpgthis free event which is coming up very quickly.
The Boots to Business Reboot course is available to Veterans of all eras, service members (including members of the National Guard and Reserve) and their spouses. Instruction is provided by skilled business advisors from SBA and SCORE.
It is a two-step training program that provides participants an overview of business ownership as a career vocation. Check out this video for more info.
Step one is this free 2-day intensive workshop which will assist participants in understanding the steps, stages, and activities related to launching and growing a business as a post-military career. This is an opportunity to understand how business ownership might, or might not, align with your personal strengths and life goals. You will receive training on the fundamental approaches and strategies to develop and execute plans for a business, a practical exercise in opportunity recognition, and an introduction to available public and private sector resources.
Step two is online follow-on courses instructed by a consortium of professors and skilled business advisors from the SBA Network.
