Groveland High School

The annual Groveland High School Alumni Reunion is set for Saturday, April 13, from 11 am – 3 pm at the Wesley Center, 715 W. Juniata St., in Clermont. Anyone who attended the school as a student or faculty member is invited to the event, which features a banquet and program.

Following the tradition of honoring graduates celebrating their 50th anniversary, this year’s reunion will pay tribute to the Class of 1969.

For the first time, the reunion will include a silent auction to raise funds for scholarships as well as other projects supported by the Groveland High School Alumni Association. Items up for bid can be viewed at Grovelandhighalumni.com.

The last class to graduate from Groveland High School was in 1993. Later that year, Groveland and Clermont high-school students began attending South Lake High School. The former Groveland High became a middle school and is now named after Cecil Gray, a former Groveland High teacher and principal.
