The newly formed FloDash Events has created quite a buzz around the immediate endurance community.
Amalie Skorman, the co-race director, described how the FloDash events started, “The group of us all run and also have a passion for producing quality endurance events. Once athletes give our races a try, we have a strong feeling they will be back.”
Register for the FloDash Showcase of Citrus Farm 5k and enjoy a movie under the stars afterward.
April 6th, 2019 at 6 pm
Watch the sun paint the sky as you run through the fields and finish the distance with a refreshing farm-fresh slushie or ice cold beer a few steps away. Participants will take home an insulated tote along with a pint glass to commemorate the event (group pricing applies).
Packet Pick-up – will be at Gear for Multisport (1935 Don Wickham Drive Clermont, FL 34711) from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday, April 5th and Saturday Packets pick-up will start at 4:30 pm and close at 5:45 pm at the Showcase of Citrus.
Race start is 6:00 pm
Awards at 7:15 pm – Awards will be given to top 3 Male and Female overall and top 3 Male and Female in 10 year age groups, starting with 10 and under, up to 70 and over.
Movie Start is 7:30 pm. FloDash team and partners at West Orange Cinema are excited to feature the inspirational movie based on real-life events, McFarland USA!
Family Discount! Bring the whole family and take advantage of the family pricing when 4 or more members from the same household register together (limit 7 entries and 4 giveaways per household).
Food Trucks will be available for dinner and the Showcase of Citrus will serve the beverages including soft drinks, beer and wine. You are asked not to bring food and drinks.
Bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets and enjoy the evening!
Part of the race’s proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities.
