The Rotary Club of South Lake County is keeping a stretch of Hartwood Marsh Rd. clean as a community service project. Each quarter the club meets on a Saturday morning and cleans up the road with help from not only members of the club but family members and local high school students. Lariah Forsyth was one of the youngest cleaners participating in the service project. She is the daughter of the club’s newest member Laura and has been wanting to help in her community. At only 8 years old, Lariah is going to do big things and already has a heart for her community.
Rotary is a service organization with local clubs all over the world. For more information about the South Lake Club please visit www.southlakerotary.com or their Facebook page under Rotary Club of South Lake County.
