The Minneola Schoolhouse Library is hosting a special Earth Day craft event on Thursday, April 11 from 4-5 pm.  The monthly “Kids Crafts” program goes “educational” and welcomes a representative from AmeriCorps and Florida State Parks to inform young and old alike about the many animals and insects that enrich our lives.

Children of all ages can learn about pollinators and their unique role in our food production. Each child can make a critter craft or two and listen to an enjoyable story about nature’s unsung heroes.

Kids’ Crafts is held every second Tuesday of the month at 4 pm through May 9, 2019. The program is free, and all children are welcome, but kids under the age of 11 must be accompanied by a caregiver age 16 or older.
