This concert is open to the entire community. You will be able to enjoy American Folk and Rock & Roll music.

Joe & Lynn Goldovitz:  Sinai Spiritual Leaders Joe and Lynn Goldovitz will provide musical entertainment for all ages. Joe and Lynn Goldovitz first met as teenagers singing and playing together in a Rock and Roll band. Throughout all this time, music has been their life-long passion. The music that has influenced them is varied. They enjoy performing American Folk Music, while Classic Rock and Roll and Oldies have always been a fun part of their signature repertoire. Their unique vocal blend is energetic and yet has the feel of the very familiar. They also have a very complete and creative repertoire of special Israeli and Jewish folk music.

Joe plays acoustic guitar and sings. Lynn is a strong vocalist, who plays electric bass and folk harp. They continue to perform at community events across the USA as well as internationally. Some of their career highlights include performances at the Governor’s Mansion in Princeton, New Jersey and Ryles Jazz Club in Boston. They perform locally at Gateway Center for the Arts, the Deltona Art Center and many other Central and South Florida venues besides performing for private parties.

Congregation Sinai has been serving the Jewish Community of Central Florida since 2003 where Joe and Lynn Goldovitz provide spiritual leadership. This organization serves as a house of prayer, assembly and study in which the spectrum of Jewish expression is cultivated and nurtured. With adult and student education programs, they offer bible study groups and bar/bat mitzvah study programs. They work to educate the entire family in the rich heritage of Judaism while sharing both contemporary and traditional Jewish culture, rituals, traditions and values. They hold Shabbat Services every Friday Night with Torah readings and Bible & Bagel Study Workshops. They hold creative service events for every major Jewish Holiday. Sinai has a very active Sisterhood and Men’s Club with numerous special events.

Commitment To Community Service: Congregation Sinai regularly supplies donations of food and supplies for the local schools as well as food and clothing for Puerto Rican and US Virgin Islands Relief Fund. While the local Jewish Community attends prayer services and special events; they have opened their doors to the entire community, regardless of faith. They hold ongoing food drives for the needy and interfaith activities to promote understanding among our different cultures. They welcome all with open arms and hearts to their services. They provide a warm spiritual environment for the observance of Jewish holidays, traditions and celebration of our members’ life cycle events.
