RUSH

WOW! What a fantastic way for Rush Allstar Cheerleading to end our regular season. Year 9 was just unbelievable!  On Saturday, April 13, Rush ended their season with 7 teams (5 year-round teams and 2 half season teams), competing at UCF at the Florida Cheer and Dance Competition.  Rush brought home 6 first place titles, a 3rd place, 5 banners, and 7 huge trophies.

The Tigers team, Sr-Coed Level 4 received Grand Champions. Tigers were just flawless and deserved Grand Champs! (they were the highest scoring team of the entire competition) and earned a cash prize!

The SavageCatz, Junior Level 3 started off the day for our Rush teams and had the entire arena on their feet cheering them on! The Cheetahs, Youth Prep level 1.1 & Jags, Senior Prep level 1.1 teams competed their first time ever and nailed their routines! The Leopards, Youth Level 1 team, had their best performance of the season and were so much fun to watch. The SaberCats, Senior level 1 had another impressive routine with all their upgrades. Last but not least, the Itty-Bitty Kitties, preschool team are just too cute and had their cleanest & best performance ever.

All the athletes and the enthusiasm of all the parents and staff sure did make everyone at the arena “FEEL the RUSH!”

It’s not over for two of our teams.  The SaberCats Sr1 and SavageCatz Jr3 received their bid to the D2 Summit National Competition at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports in May.  We are so very proud of these teams as they represent Rush Allstar Cheer.

In preparation, for our 2019-2020 season tryouts are scheduled for May 20-22, 2019.  Anyone ages 3-18 interested in joining the program is urged to contact the gym for complete details and information. Rush Allstar Cheer, is located at 345 Hatteras Ave. Clermont, FL 34711 Phone: 352-243-2800 Email: rushallstars@aol.com
