May the fur be with you! – A Themed Adoption Event
The Lake County Animal Shelter will host its second annual Star Wars-themed adoption event on May 11 dubbed “May the Fur be with you.” Hosted at the shelter, 28123 County Road 561, Tavares, this fun-filled event offers families pet adoptions at no cost all day and will feature Star Wars characters from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm, including special guests from the 501st Makaze Squad who will be available for photos.
“Everyone had a blast at our Star Wars event last year and we are thrilled to have the 501st join us again to promote pet adoption,” said shelter director Whitney Boylston.
