Mark Douglas Hairdressing has recently expanded to accommodate its growing clientele. The faithful followers won’t have a problem finding the new location which conveniently remains in the same plaza near Walgreens at 4420 S. US 27, Clermont.
During a recent open house to celebrate the expansion of Mark Douglas Hairdressing, the SOUTH LAKE TABLET spoke with Mark about What’s Happening at the salon.
SOUTH LAKE TABLET – Mark, Tell me what to expect at the newly redesigned and expanded business.
Mark– We had been in our previous location for four years, and outgrew the space. We also wanted to add more staff to be able to accommodate the demand.
SOUTH LAKE TABLET – The Academy Studio will be added to the salon. Can you describe?
Mark – the Academy Studio is a dream come true. It will be a place to host higher hair education for stylists to improve their skills or learn new techniques. This location will bring attendees from all over North America, as we are the training center for Kaaral, the color and products brand we use. We will also have guest artists and other brands utilizing the space for their education offerings. Class registrations and costs will vary on the program offered.
SOUTH LAKE TABLET – It sounds exciting! Will you tell me a little about YOU?
Mark -I’ve been a stylist, educator, and Director of Education for nearly twenty years. What I love most about my profession is the connection with clients and making them look and feel their best. I’m so proud of my team and what we have accomplished in these last 4 years. Mark Douglas Hairdressing is our home and we want everyone to have that sense of comfort when they come to see us.
SOUTH LAKE TABLET – Is there anything else you’d like to share with the readers?
Mark – Healthy, strong, beautiful hair is what we believe in. Our clients’ hair is our best representation. We have won “Best of South Lake” three years in a row. That is because of our clients and we are growing every year. We love our community and supporting it in any way we can.
