The Lake County Public Library System is sponsoring a “Food for Fines” food donation campaign in May. At the Minneola Schoolhouse Library donations will be accepted Monday, May 20 through Friday, May 31. All food donated at the Library will benefit New Beginnings of Central Florida.

For each unopened, unexpired non-perishable food item you donate, the library will subtract $1 off your overdue library fines.  Fines cannot be waived for lost or damaged library materials. You can also donate pet food!
