East Ridge High School’s Culinary Management Team recently won 2nd place in the National ProStart Invitational in Washington, D.C.

The team won the state competition in March, earning a spot to represent Florida in the national competition. The National ProStart Invitational is the country’s premier secondary school competition focused on restaurant management and culinary arts.

Approximately 400 student competitors put their skills to the test in front of industry leaders, National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation trustees, state restaurant associations and family and friends in the hope of earning coveted scholarships from the nation’s best culinary and restaurant management programs.

Congratulations, Chef Kenneth Pitts and Chef Chris Dwyer and the ERHS Culinary Team: Eva Marshall, Amanda De Turo, Faith Macaulay, Cole Hilton and Tyler Dobereiner
