Lake Technical College is proud to announce the addition of the Paramedic program to the Clermont campus. Lake Tech’s Clermont campus is located at the Lake Sumter State College South Lake Campus. Current EMTs will further their EMS training through this shift friendly day program.
This is a 1,100-hour Pell Grant eligible program that was created upon the request of Clermont Fire Rescue. We currently have 22 students in the program from:
• Clermont Fire Rescue
• Lake County Fire Rescue
• Lake County EMS
• Montverde Fire Rescue
Lake Technical College is excited for the opportunity to extend training opportunities for our EMS first responders on the south end of the county. This program aligns with our mission at Lake Tech by offering another high-quality career-training program in our community.
