Polka Dogz Pet Rescue continues to support our community through small dog adoptions, fostering programs and fundraisers to help make their dreams a reality for many loving doggies. At Polka Dogz Pet Rescue, they rely on dedicated volunteers and generous donors to maintain the rescue and the extensive medical treatment of all the dogs.
July 6 Glamour & Rescue Pageant Fashion Show: The national Miss Global United States Pageant will be hosting their annual event here in Orlando this July. They will be co-hosting a glamorous Global Pageant Fashion Show for the benefit of Polka Dogz Rescue on Saturday night, July 6 starting at 7 pm at the Florida Hotel & Conference Center. This special Before and After Fashion Show will include a Clothing & Food Drive to further help the Polka Dogz Pet Rescue. Be sure to bring your bags of donated clothing, shoes and fashion accessories such as purses, belts, caps, backpacks, linens, towels and small toys. Ticket donations are only $25, with all proceeds benefitting Polka Dogz Rescue. Free July 6 Pageant Meet & Greet: There will also be a free Legacy US Pageant Meet & Greet event, where you and your young princesses can have fun joining the Pageant Queens for autographs and photo opportunities at Polka Dotz Boutique in the Florida Mall on Saturday afternoon, July 6 from 4 to 5 pm. Extra bags of donated clothing, shoes and fashion accessories for the Clothing Drive can also be dropped off at this event.
Polka Dogz Clothing Drive: For more information on their Clothing Drive, visit www.flclothingdrive.com which is a service provided by the fundraising division of Millennium International Textile located in Sanford, Florida. Their goal is to partner with and generate revenue for our community and non-profit organizations while simultaneously recycling clothing and shoes. 100% of the donations are distributed to help economically underdeveloped areas of the world. If unable to bring donations to either event, call 973-598-8880 to set up an appointment to bring your donations to their warehouse.
