The Cooper Memorial Library will host the October Mountain Washtub Band live in concert with a program of folk and patriotic music generously sponsored by our Friends of the Cooper Memorial Library on Tuesday, July 2, at 6 pm on the second floor in the library.

The band gets its name from an actual mountain in the Appalachian chain in western Massachusetts. Band members include Don on harmonica and accordion, Cookie on guitar and fiddle, Dolly on washtub bass, Dave on mandolin and guitar, and Dale on banjo, fiddle, and guitar.

This is a free program and everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
