Beta Theta has been a long-time supporter of the South Lake Hospital Foundation and its mission to improve the health and quality of life of individuals in our community. Donations to the South Lake Hospital Foundation help to provide treatment to those in need, invest in rapidly advancing technologies and services, and attract the most qualified candidates to its health care team.
Beta Theta members Suzanne McClure and Joan Kyle met with Sheri Olsen, director of the South Lake Hospital Foundation, to present a contribution to the Foundation targeted for a student scholarship in the field of medicine.
Beta Theta is a philanthropic organization. Last year its members, a group of 20, raised more than $17,000 with all proceeds contributed to local high school scholarships and non-profit organizations. This season, its major fundraiser, Beta Theta’s Annual Mardi Gras Celebration, will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020. The members are looking forward to your support and assistance in giving back to the community.
