Saturday morning was another great Clermont Waterfront Parkrun with over 111 total participants taking to the trail to run, jog or walk along scenic Lake Minneola for the 289thevent. Twenty-two participants took to the course for the first time and 8 new personal bests were set.

What started out as a sunny morning with the occasional cloud passing over soon turned to a steady stream of light rain. The rain kept the course and runners nice and cool providing some relief to the June heat. The temperature this morning was 76 degrees and very humid, nevertheless, the trail was filled with smiling faces. Lots of overseas visitors and running groups were in attendance. As well as Nearly a fifth of all participants were taking in the fresh air and beautiful lake views for the first time to kick their weekend off with a great start.

Jeremy Arguelles took first place overall this week for the second week in a row, coming in at 17:24 nearly touching his previous PB record on this course. Following him with a second place finish was Luiz Prestes at 17:40. Followed by Caleb Mendez at 20:00 rounding out the top three male spots. The female top three holds Misty Becerra coming in at 21:28 just 12 seconds shy of her personal best. Second place went to Zarrah Barbaza with a time of 22:34. Followed by Sarah Mclarty taking the third place spot with a time of 23:06.
