Lake Technical College is now in Open Registration for the Fall 2019 semester. Registration will remain open through August 8, or until the program is full. In addition to our general open enrollment, the Career Dual Enrollment application period has been extended through July 25th for high school juniors and seniors interested in getting a head start on their career training. For over 50 years, Lake Tech has provided career and technical training to thousands of students in Lake County and our surrounding region. Lake Technical College locations include the main campus at 2001 Kurt Street in Eustis, the Institute of Public Safety campus in Tavares, and the Clermont Instructional Service Center on Lake Sumter State College’s South Lake Campus. 

Lake Technical College is a public, post-secondary institution whose mission is to be an integral component of the economic growth and development in our community by offering over 30 high-quality career-training programs. Our faculty are experts in their industries and they thrive on launching their students into successful careers. Our programs are fast and affordable! Most programs are completed in approximately one year, thus the slogan, “Career in a Year.” Tuition is based on $2.88 per hour and financial aid is available to those who qualify. Furthermore, Lake Tech has several GED® Preparation and ESOL classes in the public libraries, Goodwill locations, and other community buildings throughout Lake County. 

Prospective students should apply online at www.laketech.org and then can come register for classes at the main campus in Eustis. Lake Tech will be holding an information session on Wednesday, July 24th at 4:30 pm at the main campus for all who would like more information. Summer Hours: Monday-Thursday from 7:30 am-5:00 pm. Testing is available on Monday and Wednesday at 7:30-2:00 pm.
