The Lake County Rowing Association is hosting its 2nd annual “Clermont Cardboard Classic” (cardboard boat race) on Saturday, August 3rd. This will be the best family fun event of the summer!

Schedule:

Friday, August 2

3:00pm-9:30pm Check-in and last-minute registration
5:00pm-8:00pm On-site boat building ($15.00 for a single boat package)
6:00pm-9:00pm Public voting

Saturday, August 3

Get ready to race! Victory Pointe opens at 10:00 am with food trucks and a beer garden Races start at 11:00 am.

Gather your friends, design an awesome cardboard watercraft, build it, and participate in the regatta. There will be races for all ages with prizes. You will also be able to vote for your favorite teams on categories such as best design, most likely to sink, best theme, etc. A wide range of fun vendors, food trucks and a beer garden will all add to the fun for both kids and adults.
