The Clermont Garden Club provides different plants to display at the Cooper Memorial Library throughout the year. This month’s plant was provided by Tina Worrell, The plant is a succulent, a drought-resistant plant. Its leaves, stem or roots have become more than usually fleshy by the development of water-storing tissue.  There are many different species in more than 25 plant families of succulents. 

Join the Clermont Garden Club on September 18 for its first meeting of the year.  All are invited to attend.   The meeting is at 10 am at the Garden Club House at 849 West Ave., Clermont.
