The Goungampo Family from Togo, West Africa, were recent guests at the Tuscanooga Baptist Church. The three daughters provided beautiful music followed by a sermon by the father who also reported on the Christian work being done in Togo.
The father, Emmanuel Goungampo, made a commitment to follow Christ when Christian missionaries visited his village years ago. He then came to the United States for his education later returning to Togo to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
During the past 26 years, the Goungampo’s have been instrumental in establishing 12 churches throughout the country.
