Lake County Commissioner Sean Parks and U.S. Rep. Ross Spano are inviting the public to attend Coffee & Conversations, an outreach meeting to be held on Thursday, August 29 from 1-3 pm at Mountaineer Coffee, located in the Citrus Tower at 141 U.S. Highway 27, Clermont.
Commissioner Parks regularly hosts Coffee & Conversations to offer convenient opportunities for South Lake County residents to speak one-on-one with various officials representing the county.
Rep. Spano represents Florida’s 15th Congressional District. In 2012, he successfully ran to represent Florida’s 59th district in the Florida House of Representatives. He served in the Florida legislature for three terms. In 2019, Ross was sworn-in to the U.S. House of Representatives.
Mountaineer Coffee is one of the latest new additions to the Citrus Tower since new owners, Scott and Heather Homan, took over the historic location earlier this year. Visitors can enjoy iced coffee, lattes and a wide variety of homemade pop tarts. Other improvements include air conditioning and more seating, in addition to future plans to add a restaurant.
