The UF/IFAS Lake County Extension will host the 2019-2020 4-H Kick-off Party on Saturday, Aug. 31 from 10 am – 1 pm at the UF/IFAS Lake County Extension Office, located at 1951 Woodlea Rd. in Tavares. The annual party kicks off the upcoming 4-H year, showcasing Lake County’s 4-H clubs.

This year’s theme is “Agvocate,” and will showcase clubs that advocate for agriculture. The event will also feature a scavenger hunt, dunk tank, crafts, local livestock and other family-oriented activities. Bring your family on an agricultural adventure to start the upcoming 4-H year.

This event is open to 4-H members and anyone interested in joining a Lake County 4-H club. Information will be provided on all county clubs, local and state events, 4-H opportunities, and becoming a 4-H volunteer.
