In an effort to fulfill the organization’s vision of inclusion and participation of individuals with developmental disabilities in all aspects of the community, Building Blocks Ministries Community Involvement Class participates in Support Our Troops ‘Troopon Project”. Each week individuals in the Community Involvement Classes, cut, sort, total, and bag coupons in preparation for the mail out.

The packages are sent to Support Our Troops, located in Daytona Beach, who in turn sends the coupons to military bases for our troops. Since November of 2018, members of Building Blocks Ministries Community Involvement classes have mailed $15,130.00 worth of coupons to Support Our Troops!

Jessica Strunk, Program Manager stated, “Individuals in our classes love this project and, lately, we have been running low on coupon pages. We are asking our community to help so that everyone in the classes can participate”. If you can help, please dropoff any coupon pages to our office located at 548 S Highway 27, Suite B, Minneola. Note: Only coupons that have NOT expired will be accepted so that they have time to process them and get them in the mail!
