East Ridge High School DECA Chapter will be hosting a college and career fair on October 7th, from 5:30-7:30 pm. The college & career fair will be held in the ERHS cafeteria with booths set up representing various colleges and businesses, local, nation and statewide. This will be a great opportunity for students and parents to obtain information about the choices for college and career. 

Florida DECA is a high school co-curricular education program with 100 chapters and 10,000 members across the state of Florida for the past 60 years. Florida DECA is a chartered association of DECA, Inc. The mission of DECA is to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. 

East Ridge High school DECA’s college and career fair is open to all students in Clermont and the surrounding areas. Students will be able to learn how to apply for college, what each college has to offer and what college is right for them. Representatives from multiple colleges will be attending to help guide all students to the right direction for their future. They will also be able to talk to career professionals to get more information about future careers as well. 

The East Ridge High School DECA Chapter is proud to sponsor such an important event to help students advance their future. East Ridge High School DECA hopes to exceed attendance this year with the college and Career fair and overall create an efficient, informative and fun event.
