Clermont Police will be using its newly wrapped pink vehicle to spread breast cancer awareness through traffic stops.

Instead of citations, motorists will receive coupons to some of their favorite local restaurants and have the opportunity to take a picture with the department’s pink car.

The Clermont Police Department has partnered with Chick-fil-A and BurgerIM to provide gift cards and coupons to unsuspecting motorists.

The Clermont Police Department has partnered with Orlando Health, UF Health Cancer Center, to promote breast cancer education during the month of October, which is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Clermont Police Department provided the police car, while Orlando Health provided the pink vehicle wrap to help engage with the community about breast cancer.

While we encourage all motorists to obey all traffic laws, those safely traveling in the City of Clermont might be in for a coupon for a tasty treat if stopped by the Clermont Police Department’s pink vehicle.
