This past weekend at the Clermont waterfront parkrun, we were happy to see many new faces coming out for the first time. There were 31 first timers this weekend, many of whom were from the local area. Parkrun Clermont presents a great opportunity for people of all ability level to socialize, have a fun morning out with their family, get in a daily bit of exercise, or improve their fitness! The beautiful fall weather and flat course also pose a great opportunity for new participants to come out. This week 113 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom and 12 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 14 different clubs took part.

Congratulations to overseas visitor Janine Porter, who completed her 150th parkrun over here in Clermont! Donna Wilson was not far behind, completing her 100thparkrun. Congratulations to both these ladies for their consistent dedication!

David Pautienus topped the men’s podium this weekend in a time of 18:02. Finishing second and third were Tagg Leduc and David Stockan in 19:07 and 19:25.

Kimberly Grogan returned to parkrun for the first time in nearly 7 months to top the female podium with a great time of 21:21. She was followed by Janine porter in 22:05, then Yolimar Bolivar in 24:25.
