Did you hear? Heritage Day is back! These two ladies are taking a break from their chores to have a friendly conversation and, of course, Heritage Day came up!

The Third Annual Heritage Day Festival will be held on Saturday, November 9th from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Historic Village.  The Village is located at 490 West Avenue not far from the Historic Downtown area of Clermont on the shores of beautiful Lake Minneola.

A great array of entertaining and fun activities are planned for the entire family, musical entertainment will be provided by the October Mountain Washtub Band and by Judy Jackson on the Hammered Dulcimer, Tin Lizzies will be on hand for car lovers young and old and there will be lots of hands-on activities for the young & young at heart to enjoy.  Need to get some aggression out?  Try a hand at beating a rug.  The heat getting to you?  Make your very own fan using a wide variety of patterns & pictures.  Think you are a handyman?  See how good you are at drilling a hole without any power tools.  All this and more awaits you.

Admission to the Festival is free but a $3.00 donation per person is requested.  Refreshments will be available for purchase at a very reasonable price.  Freshly churned butter and homemade ice cream will be made that day and samples will be free.  So bring the entire family from grandma & grandpa to the little ones to the Historic Village on November 9th between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm and take a step back in time to a kinder, gentler era.
