New Beginnings of Central Florida Announces its 10th Anniversary Gala Celebration.

Extraordinary plans are underway for New Beginnings of Central Florida annual fundraising gala, “Dancing Under the Stars” on Saturday, November, 16th.

Celebrating its 10th year in hosting this fundraising gala, New Beginnings of Central Florida will feature six local celebrity dancers competing on the dance floor for the coveted “Mirror Ball Award” and the “People’s Choice Award.” The party will begin with a silent auction and dinner then follow with dancing entertainment. In addition to an evening filled with local celebrity dancing entertainment, the event will feature testimonials from New Beginnings of Central Florida alumni and current residents sharing their transformational journey to a new beginning.

Stephanie Harris, Executive Director New Beginnings of Central Florida shares, “We are incredibly excited to share an evening with community members celebrating our shared success. “The “Dancing Under the Stars” gala will feature a dancing competition amongst local celebrities, which include, Cynthia Schidele (Benefits Consultant, Lockheed Martin, Sarah Zaccaro (Office Manager, Arellano Realty and Investments, Merideth Nagel, Esq. (Merideth Nagel, P.A. and Concierge Title), Jeff Powell, A.I.A. (Powell Studio Architecture), Ebo Entsuah (English as a Second Language Instructor, Montverde Academy) and Dr. Jamin Brahmbhatt, M.D. (Urologist and Chief of Surgery, Orlando Health South Lake Hospital).

Leading up to the event, votes can be cast for your favorite local celebrity dancer via the New Beginnings of Central Florida website. The celebrity dancer with the highest votes will be awarded the “People’s Choice Award.”

New Beginnings of Central Florida breaks down barriers, dispels stereotypes, overcomes obstacles and challenges attitudes and perceptions about people who are homeless and their potential.”

The “Dancing Under the Stars” gala will be hosted on November 16, at 6 pm at the Clermont Performing Center. Votes can be cast for your favorite local celebrity and tickets for the event can be ordered by visiting www.nbcfl.org
