Thrive Clermont will host its first-ever Winter Festival, a one-of-a-kind event geared towards honoring its Circle Member supporters and volunteers for aiding in the mission of empowering teens to succeed. This event which doubles as a fundraiser to fund the nonprofit’s teen programming will take place on Sunday, December 8, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Florida Citrus Tower.

The family-friendly event will feature many activities that both supporters and the general public can partake in at no cost. Guests can dive into the holiday spirit by enjoying vintage photo opportunities, live local entertainment including a DJ and choir groups, and last but certainly not least, a Make & Take Alley. This unique Make & Take Alley invites community members of all ages to craft homemade gifts for teachers, coaches, or family members for FREE. Supplies will be provided by Thrive Clermont for easy handmade gift making and all guests need to bring is their creativity. 1,000 homemade gifts are expected to be made during the day and any unfinished gifts not taken home will be collected and donated to local agencies serving the less fortunate in the Clermont area.

Other activities available that day for a minimal purchase or a donation benefiting Thrive Clermont include, “Ride to the Top” elevator rides in the Florida Citrus Tower, train rides for children, retro-video games at Tower Arcade, a silent auction, food and gift vendors, poinsettia sales, a photo booth with fun props, and much more.

Event co-hosts and plaza partners include Florida Citrus Tower, J Sterling Spa, Uncle Kenny’s BBQ & Pizza, Mountaineer Coffee, Happy Trolls Games, and Tower Arcade.
