Save the date for the annual Battle of the Badges.
The Clermont Police Department will compete against the Lake County Sheriff’s Office in a charity basketball game at 6 pm, December 13, at Clermont Elementary School, 680 E. Highland Avenue, Clermont.
The goal is to partner with Christian Men in Action to collect toys for our community. We would like to invite the public to cheer on their local law enforcement. Please bring an unwrapped toy to donate for this important cause. Christian Men in Action will be donating the collected toys to children at McKinney Park on Christmas Eve.
Clermont Police Chief Charles Broadway will be playing again this year and encourages everyone to come out and support a great cause that gives children an opportunity to have a special holiday season.
