The 31st annual Light Up Clermont themed event brought more spectators than ever before to historic downtown Clermont. The balmy weather helped to promote the theme, Holiday In Parade.

On Friday evening, December 6, Clermont kicked off its annual hometown 2-day event with a community tree-lighting ceremony led by Mayor Gail Ash. The tree-lighting was followed by lots of fun, food, and entertainment along the festively decorated storefronts and sidewalks.

On Saturday, over 15,000 spectators lined the streets of downtown Clermont to enjoy the parade and other fun-filled activities. It appeared that everyone in the South Lake community attended the festivities…..Did anyone stay at home?

Congratulations to the City of Clermont! They sure know how to throw a spectacular event.

Pictures are worth 1,000 words. Below are pictures and a video of some of the highlights of the event.
