Woodlands Lutheran Church in Montverde is offering its 28th annual Living Nativity on Wednesday, December 11th, Friday, December 13th, and Saturday, December 14th.  Continuous 20-minute walk-through tours of the greatest story ever told begin at 6:30 pm.

This year’s production includes a new scene line up depicting the fore-telling, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.  All scenes include audience participation to include live animals in the City of Bethlehem Market Place.

Admission is always free, however, guests are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to share with our neighbors in need.  Attending this well-loved event is a local tradition and is known for kicking off the Christmas season.

At least 2,000 people are expected to walk the tour over the three nights of performance!  The tour is  “well worth the wait” time.  The tour includes pre-walk entertainment which includes hilarious skits, Christmas sing-a-longs, poignant moments, and instructions.

After checking in and being assigned a tour group, guests are led by a guide to each scene.  After the tour, guests are led to the fellowship area to enjoy a delicious cup of hot chocolate and a few of the 8,000 hand-made Christmas cookies which are lovingly baked by the Woodlands congregation!

Woodlands Lutheran Church is located at 15333 CR455, Montverde.
