The Ray Goodgame Outstanding Student Leader Award honors students in the South Lake area who like the deceased Clermont Councilman Ray Goodgame serve as community leaders and champions.

Hunter Tierman, a student at Lake Minneola High School, exemplifies the characteristics of a community leader. At January’s South Lake Chamber of Commerce Breakfast, Jim Purvis, a Clermont City Councilman presented Hunter with the Ray Goodgame Outstanding Student Leader Award.

Hunter is a dual-enrolled AP and honor student that currently holds a 4.6 GPA. Outside of his extensive course load, Hunter also serves on the yearbook club, and as an assistant in the guidance department, attendance department and science department.

Hunter has been named student of the month in 2018 and 2019 as has been named Summa Cum Laude every year since 2017.  He also works 20 hours a week at PDQ.

Hunter Tierman, Congratulations!
