A lot of people are calling asking to update tickets to the new dates. This is not required – if you ticket is valid on Friday it will scan on Friday 13th March. If it says Saturday it will scan on Saturday 14th March etc. We appreciate your patience with getting through, if you have to leave a voicemail we will get back to you. Please do not leave more than one voicemail OR call from different phones as this extends the time it takes to get back to everyone
The Lake County Balloon Festival is a community event that will be held on February 21-23, 2020 (9 am) at Sheets Airport, 6548 Groveland Airport Rd, Groveland.
Featuring hot air balloons glowing at dusk (weather permitting), tethered balloon rides (weather permitting), food vendors, retail vendors and activities for the kids. This is a family-friendly event.
Admission to the event is charged per vehicle to limit capacity for comfort and enjoyment. All parking passes are $20 and must be booked in advance.
Tethered rides can be booked in advance from just $20 per person if purchased before February 1st, 2020 – $30 if purchased after that date or at the event (subject to available capacity).

This event is planned as an annual fundraiser. Last year the event was much smaller but raised thousands of dollars for Special Olympics and Minneola Charter School.
With the announcement that Pig on the Pond is canceled, there may be an opportunity to partner with dozens of local organizations to find a way to raise funds through the event.
