Lake County Schools is offering job seekers and potential career changers who are interested in becoming a teacher an opportunity to chat with an expert during an online event scheduled for 4 pm to 6 pm, Wednesday, February 5.

Participants will be able to ask questions, get answers and learn more about the various paths to a teaching career, including the steps to become certified to teach and details about education degree programs at local colleges and universities.

The session is open to anyone with a bachelor’s degree or higher who wants to learn how to become eligible to teach. Those with an associate’s degree or high school diploma are also invited to learn more about obtaining a bachelor’s degree, a prerequisite for teaching in Florida public schools.
