The first Friends of Cooper Memorial Library book sale of the new decade will be held February 7 – February 11. Works from all major literary genres will be available. Browse through thousands of hardbacks, paperbacks, and audiobooks to find an old favorite or the new bestseller you haven’t read yet. You may also find DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, games and puzzles that spark your interest. Suggested donations for these treasures range from 25 cents to $2.00 – a select few are slightly higher.

Once again, during the sale, you will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for a drawing for a gift card tree. Gift cards are donated by local merchants and restaurants.

This year begins a new decade in which the importance of community members having access to cultural programs, information on technological improvements, the arts, literature, crafts, etc., will only increase. Proceeds from the semi-annual book sales help ensure resources will be available for programs that are at risk of being underfunded and will also help the development and/or implementation of new programs.

Mark your calendar for the February sale:

  • February  7 and 8 from 9 am to 3 pm,
  • February 10 from 9 am to 5 pm
  • February 11 from 9 am to pm.
