In lieu of their February meeting, the Clermont Woman’s Club (CWC) held its Annual Purse Auction, where new and gently used purses were auctioned off. The proceeds from the auction will go towards the many charities the CWC support throughout the year such as the FAITH Neighborhood Center, Cooper Memorial Library, the Haven of Lake/Sumter to name a few. Annette Dicks and her committee organized a successful event.
The Clermont Woman’s Club invites prospective members to meetings at the Clubhouse at 655 Broome Street and 7th Street, Clermont on the first Tuesday of each month at 12:30 pm. For information see www.clermontwomansclub.org.
