The South Lake Marine Corps League will host Clermont’s popular chief of police, Charles “Chuck” Broadway at its February 18 at 6:30 pm detachment meeting at the Clermont Fire House Number No. 1 on State Road 50, Clermont.
The meeting is open to people who are former Marines or their family members and friends. The South Lake Marine Corps League is continuing to expand its community outreach and looks forward to hearing from Chief Broadway about the activities of the Clermont Police Department, the Chief’s background, and how the Marine Corps League can support local police.
The South Lake Marine Corps League Commandant Ray Taylor looks forward to an active 2020. “In addition to Chief Broadway, we have invited other community leaders to our Detachment meetings.” In March, County Commissioner Sean Parks will visit the Detachment.
The Detachment meets at the Clermont Fire House No. 1 on State Road 50 each third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
