The South Lake Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon-cutting for Dr. Joell Sheahan and her team at Mobile Vet to Pet.

Mobile Vet To Pet Does House Calls! Mobile Vet To Pet provides an alternative to the traditional bricks and mortar clinic. The team provides high-quality veterinary care without the stress felt by pets every time they have to leave the comfort of their home for a trip to the vet. Exams are done in the home where chronic conditions are best observed.

Large pets, those with arthritis or those with advanced age may be difficult to transport. This service offers an option. Appointments can be scheduled, before or after work, evenings and weekends.

Mobile Vet To Pet works with local animal hospitals, and specialty clinics, to fill any needs that cannot be addressed in the home. Services such as X-rays, surgery, hospitalization, and anesthetic procedures when needed, can be performed at the animal hospital of your choice.

Mobile Vet To Pet Came When We Needed Them.  Rooney, my son’s Australian Shepherd, was part of our family, one of the kids. He was with us since he was born and was Patrick’s sidekick for 13 years. The two traveled all over the country. When Rooney was diagnosed with cancer, we were devastated. Mobile Vet To Pet visited Rooney, gave him the medical care he needed and the understanding we needed. When it was time to say goodbye, Dr. Sheahan was at our home to give him a peaceful passing and to comfort us.

It has been a year since Rooney’s passing but we still miss Rooney and will always be grateful for the caring and comfort that Dr. Sheahan and her team provided to Rooney and us.
