The local Family History Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invites the community to a free presentation on “DNA and Family History” on Wednesday, February 26th, 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the church located at 14600 Green Valley Blvd, Clermont, Florida.

Basic information on DNA testing, reading results, comparison of various tests and more will be discussed by Alan K. Jones, a local genealogy enthusiast with a medical background.

The presentation is part of a new Family History series being developed at the Family History Center (FHC). Access to subscription genealogy sites (Ancestry, My Heritage, etc.) is available on the FHC computer. Family History consultants staff the FHC on Wednesday evenings from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am to Noon. The FHC is accessed at the east end of the church building. Use of the FHC is free to the community.
