The Citrus Tower, a South Lake icon since it was built in 1956, rises to the majestic height of 226 feet and offers a panoramic view of Central Florida to visiting guests.

The annual holiday venue at the Citrus Tower was a favorite for those wishing to enjoy an awesome Christmas Light Show, hot chocolate, and all the merriment that makes holiday memories and family traditions.  But as the crowds grew, so did the costs and challenges. For the last few years, to the disappointment of kids of all ages, there was no holiday music or glittering display of lights at the Tower.

To help defray the cost of the event and bring the lights back, General Manager Scott Homan held a campaign to sell annual Citrus Tower Memberships.

400 Memberships were needed to be sold by April 1 to ensure that the light display is ready for the 2020 holiday spectacular, AND THE GOAL HAS BEEN ACHIEVED ALREADY! THE LIGHTS WILL BE BACK.

Thanks to business sponsorships, community support and the assistance of Chick-Fil-A , the Lights Will be Back.

Chick-fil-A provided coupons for the first 400 people to purchase a Membership. Each coupon provided the bearer a FREE Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, or Spicy Chicken Sandwich.

Let’s not stop at 400 memberships!

500 Memberships will bring lots of ‘snow’ to the show.
600 Memberships will provide hometown glee and glitter

IT’S A GREAT DEAL! The $100 pp, non-refundable membership includes:

  • Unlimited access to the Top of the Tower during regular business hours.
  • Bring FOUR guests FREE up the Tower per day.
  • 10% OFF Mountaineer Coffee Citrus Tower in our lobby.
  • 10% OFF Admissions to the Tower Arcade and Lounge at Citrus Tower.
  • 10% OFF Uncle Kenny’s BBQ.
  • 10% OFF Happy Troll Games.
  • Citrus Tower vinyl sticker for your car.
  • A welcome packet
  • Membership card
  • Early access to purchase tickets to events which sometimes sell out, such as the July 4th fireworks panoramic viewing.

You can still purchase memberships either in-store at Mountaineer Coffee, on www.CitrusTower.com, or on the Facebook tab ‘Shop’.

Note From Citrus Tower Management – As a business, we decided it would be exciting to try to use the income of the sales of annual memberships until April 1st to try to fund the light show for the community to enjoy. If we do not get to 400 members and can not add the light show, funds brought in by annual membership sales will be used to maintain and operate the Citrus Tower and we’ll continue to offer some free events and options for the community to enjoy. For example, the community room which is free to book up to 8 hours a month at www.CitrusTower.com.
