Because COVID-19 continues to impact Florida, a new Executive Order has been enacted to reflect direction from Governor DeSantis, the DOH and the CDC.
Effective immediately, all recreational boats must be at least 50 feet apart. Each recreational vessel must not have more than 10 people on board.
- ALL FWC offices and FWC-managed shooting ranges will be closed to the public from Thursday, March 19 through Sunday, April 19 in accordance with Department of Management Services guidelines. Staff will reevaluate the need for extending the closure prior to April 19 so please check back before heading to an office or range.
- Currently, most WMAs remain open to the public. We recommend monitoring the open/closed status of a WMA before visiting the area. Please also note some recreational areas within WMAs have been closed by our partner agencies. WMA users are reminded to engage in social distancing. Group size should be limited to 10 people and groups should remain 50 feet apart.
