Project Scholars, the parent organization and host of Pig on the Pond Community Festival, announced it is seeking proposals from talented, experienced event planners for the organization’s popular annual festival, which will be held March 5-7, 2021.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) application and details about the position can be downloaded from the festival’s website: www.pigonthepond.org. Deadline for submissions is May 15, 2020. Questions and submissions should go to Kelly Armstrong at kelly@pigonthepond.org.

Pig on the Pond Community Festival is a three-day event, which helps fund educational scholarships for local students among other initiatives that support education.

The festival, held at Clermont’s Waterfront Park, draws about 30,000 and is the city’s largest event. Pig on the Pond Community Festival includes BBQ, a chili challenge and other food vendors, a carnival, live entertainment, fireworks and many other activities. This family-friendly event is more than 20 years old and is one of the most popular in Central Florida.

Project Scholars is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, whose mission is funding scholarships and nurturing dreams.
